Fluxys transmission grid
The Fluxys LNG terminal is directly connected to the Fluxys transmission grid. Fluxys LNG terminalling capacity subscribers are thus given access to the Belgian market and to some of the largest gas consuming markets in Continental Europe, namely Germany, France and the Netherlands, and indirectly to Italy and Spain.

Zeebrugge: at the heart of European gas flows
The Fluxys LNG terminal is in terms of transnational gas flows strategically located at the crossing of the east-west route between Siberia and Scotland and the north-south route between Norway and Southern Europe.

The various facilities at Zeebrugge together have an annual throughput capacity of 40 billion m3(n) of natural gas, which represents about 11 per cent of gas consumption in Western Europe.
